Covenant Groups and
Small Group Ministries Covenant Groups, Chalice Circles, and other Small Group Ministries are one of the most positive and valuable aspects of our fellowship. If you wish to learn just what these groups are, please visit the description of them in our Newcomer's Section. Currently, we have several active Small Group Ministries in our Fellowship in Galveston. Feel free to visit one!
Adult Religious Education Forum—Currently studying and discussing topics in liberal religion. Every Sunday morning at 9 AM in RE1 ____________________________________________________________ “Bowlers” Group—A pottery group that is making bowls for our annual “Empty Bowl” Fundraiser. 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 5:30 PM ____________________________________________________________ Chalice Circle— A small group that meets monthly to be in relationship with one another for our mutual growth and development and to deepen our understanding of Unitarian Universalist principles and values. 4th Wednesday at 5:30 PM ____________________________________________________________ Terry Conrad's Weekly Meditation Group— An open meditation which meets every Thursday from 5:15 t0 6:45 PM. ____________________________________________________________ Deist Covenant Group— Learn about and understand what Deism is with discussion and debate on how we can learn about God and God's attributes by observing nature and using the power of reason in order to understand nature. Meets at 8pm on the first Wednesday of each Month. ____________________________________________________________ Game Night—Join in for an evening of card and board games. One Saturday evening a month, see newsletter for current date. ____________________________________________________________ Sunday PotLuck—Last Sunday of every month. Join us for good eats and great conversation. ____________________________________________________________ Zen Meditation Group—Practice meditation with others.
