Sermon Description:
Join us for our annual Water Communion, a beloved Unitarian Universalist tradition that invites us to celebrate the journeys, experiences, and connections that shape our community. Bring a small amount of water from a place that holds meaning for you—perhaps from a favorite vacation spot, a nearby stream, your garden, or simply your home. During the service, we will blend these waters together as a symbol of our shared lives, diverse experiences, and the community we create together. Whether you bring water or simply your presence, all are warmly welcome to participate in this meaningful ritual of renewal and connection.
Pam is the current Program Chair. She was raised UU in Meadville, Pennsylvania, and has also been a member of Nacogdoches UU Fellowship (now Timberland), First Jefferson UU in Fort Worth (now All Peoples), and Thoreau Woods UU Church in Huntsville (now closed). She is a clinical social worker winding down her private practice. She is married to James Johnson, and together they produce house concerts, are members of Galveston Ukulele Society, love to travel, and spending time with their three daughters and nine grandchildren.
